Graston Technique is a type of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) used to alleviate many different soft tissue dysfunctions. Graston Technique uses specifically designed stainless-steel instruments with bevel and concave /convex curvatures to target the dysfunctional tissue. These techniques and instruments have been designed to help decrease tissue tension and tightness, increase blood flow to the tissue, promote the process of cellular renewal, and to mobilize scar tissue of varying depths.
